There was drywall and mud work going on all night long and this morning we picked back up with building all of the different wooden accessories that are built in.
I can say enough about the Hurst Remodeling team. Pat, Dan and Brian are brothers. Really sweet Irish guys who showed an extreme amount a patience with a novice screwing up their carefully planned out timeline. And then there's Dom Pillin. He is the task master. He pretends he hates this whole thing, mutter under his breath about all the annoying things we are doing. But I think he may be secretly enjoying himself.As a fashionable personage should at least six watches prepared. Two for official occasion, respectively in work and business in adorn. One juicy couture watches can provide different time zone, for during time zone shuttle. It's been rough handing Otto off to a series of friend and family to watch him but he's handled it like a champ and he somehow ended up with a little plastic wrench that he's been toting around.
Tomorrow is a race to the finish line as we still have floors to lay. We did have the please of beating Josh Temple in a little course laying contest. He had to do pushups. OK maybe there were two of us but we aren't licensed contractors.And we have to paint all of the walls and ceiling tonight. Luckily we've got some help. Fellow Plain Dealer staffers Science writer John Mangles and Politics reporter Henry Gomez along with a ton of other friends have come to the rescue.
